A day of cross-country skiing for the children of the commune school.

The beginning of school for the year 2010 went rather well : the snow arrived on the first day of the cross-country skiing outings planned on the plateau of Plaine-Joux.

Accompanied by volunteer parents with their agreement test not always easy to obtain it was first the children of the first and second grades who enjoyed the pleasures of snow. A long-lasting sport par excellence, cross-country skiing for a child who enjoys skiing activities becomes one of the few outdoor activities he can do all his life at a low cost in our areas. Local instructors had them share this enjoyable outdoor sport while sliding and laughing all the way. The third grade will practice Nordic skiing in February on weekly outings like for cross-country skiing. A first for the village school!
