Assessment and concerns at the mayor’s address…

As it is the custom in January the traditional mayor’s address took place in the village hall: flashback onto a pleasant moment shared by the villagers.

A lot of villagers have come along with the deputy Martial Saddier, the departement councillor Maurice Sonnerat, the mayors of the canton, the town councillors and technical employees, the representatives of the administrations and associations, the clergy, the gendarmerie etc. After the New Year’s address and the acknowledgements to the various doers and volunteers of the village the mayor Noël Jacquemoud returned to a year of events brought up in colours with the help of a slide show full of photos and comments. For the first village official “2012 will see the end of the numbering and naming file which fell behind, the continuation of the study of the village school extension, the purchase of equipment for the technical services”.
Worried about the reduction of the Geneva funds, a subject the department councillor has widely commented, the mayor reassured his fellow-citizens what regards the completion of the current projects.
