GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION

The commune of La Muraz is located in the County of Haute-Savoie, also called the “roof of Europe”. It benefits from a very attractive geographic location:

• 10 km from the town of Annemasse, the second economical focus of the County of Haute-Savoie which has an airfield and a TGV railway station operating frequent daily links with Paris;
• 12 km from the Swiss border and therefore close to the city of Geneva, its station and its international airport: Paris for instance can be reached in 1 hour by air or 3h30 by TGV and these links are operated several times a day;
• 30 km from Annecy, the main town of the County, a renowned tourist city which also has a TGV railway station and an airfield with several daily links to Paris-Gare de Lyon or Orly airport;
• 10 mn from the motorway network with links to:
• either the Arve valley, Chamonix and Italy via the A40
• either Annecy, then Chambéry, Grenoble and the Rhone valley via the A41
• either again via the A40 to Bellegarde, then Bourg-en-Bresse heading to Paris (545km)
